Making a Difference in the Lives of Teens and Young Adults

Children and young people all over the world are exposed to, and/or are forced to engage in, far too many hardships and challenges in the course of their everyday lives for them to every truly reach and enjoy living out their maximum potential. Entering into relationship with a coach can help children and young people to achieve focus around such issues as: personal development, conscious awareness and problem-solving, to name a few; and thereby help them to flourish in their youth and become stronger, more balanced, successful and peaceful adults.

Equally important, children and young people must be equipped with tools and practices that will allow them to address, remove and even appreciate certain obstacles. Still further, because Vox Omnis CYP is based on the

Co-Active Coaching Model, children and young people will experience the responsibility and joy of co-designing the coaching relationship, the plan and the desired outcomes. This helps to ensure buy-in on their part, and is very important with respect to authentic participation, learning and forward progress.

To be sure, coaching is not a substitute for therapy or medical attention. It is, however, very effective and does not bring the stigma of therapy to the young client. Coaches seek to work together with clients, through focused listening, compassion, and clearly established mutual respect, to help them to build self-esteem, identify and develop personal strengths, and to interrupt, then replace negative behaviors with new, more positive ones.
